OUTBACK STORMCHASERS
WELCOME - GIDDAY
We come from a land down under,
We chase storms and we love thunder.
From the shores of Australia we sing in sand,
We Are the Outback Stormchasers Band.
With music for the chase,
we dance in the rain's embrace.
chasing tornados with our music is exciting,
While we Watch out for snakes, and debris, and lightning.
with courage in our hearts we roam,
Far From the Outback, far from home.
Come join us now, with your wild side,
Blasting Outback Stormchasers from your ride.
Through the dust, and the wind, and the hail, and the rain,
Forever making music for the chase we remain.

Outback Stormchasers began by blending the thrill of chasing tornadoes in the USA with creating music back home in Australia. It all started when BJ, was playing guitar with his neighbor Greg Ashby on Greg’s back porch.
At the time, Greg’s mother-in-law, Grandma Hazel, was living with Greg and his family. She’s a wonderful lady, but she wasn’t a fan of the loud guitars and songs that Greg, BJ, and others would play late into the night. Hazel loved feeding the kangaroos from the back porch, and they would come by every evening at sunset.
One evening, inspired by her love for the kangaroos, Greg and BJ decided to write her a song. That’s how "Grandma's Kangaroos" was born, along with the dream of sharing their music with folks in the USA, where DJBJJ also loved chasing tornadoes.
BJ had been calling his storm-chasing crew the Outback Stormchasers, and the name stuck. Since then, BJ has expanded OSC’s music and taken it to audiences across the USA.
